VERDICT: Crisp, secret-packed, and absolutely worth playing. Only real “bleh” is easier cheat options disabling achievements.

If you want a 2D Zelda meets Souls-light action adventure packed with secrets, Mina the Hollower is probably your thing. The movement is crisp, the bosses rule, the environments keep changing, and there are plenty of weapons and trinkets that actually change how you fight, move, and explore. My only real gripe: using the built-in GameShark-esque cheat menu to make the game easier turns off achievements. Bleh. Weirdly, achievements stay on if you use options that make the game harder, which is cool, but still. Highly recommended.
